Bradley Hartmann is a recovering Area Purchasing Manager at a national home builder. After interacting with hundreds of sales reps across the country, Hartmann realized LBM pros and Purchasing Managers want the same thing—candor, expertise, and helpfulness. To help both sides save time, money, and frustration, Hartmann wrote Behind Your Back: What Purchasing Managers Say Once You Leave the Room and How to Get Them to Say Yes. With his unique perspective from the “other side of the desk,” Hartmann now travels the country helping LBM firms improve their sales and training efforts.
With his fluency in Spanish and experience living in Mexico, Hartmann’s firm Red Angle (www.redanglespanish.com) helps LBM clients ensure language and cultural barriers do not become sales and profitability barriers with the large and growing Hispanic demographic.
Bradley has written three books for the construction industry and also teaches at Purdue and Oklahoma State. Hartmann has orange hair, yet doesn’t have a bad temper nor considers the term “ginger” offensive.
