Ted Galbraith is Executive Vice President of Foxworth Galbraith Lumber Company, based in Plano, Texas. Galbraith grew up in Dallas and attended the University of Texas, earning a degree in Economics. After graduation, Galbraith began his career with Foxworth Galbraith by supervising the building of lumberyards and building material centers in Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. Later, he served as their East Texas District Manager and hardlines purchasing manager. He is presently involved in the marketing and public relations for Foxworth Galbraith. Additionally, Galbraith has served on the board of the of a museum at the State Fair of Texas and capital campaign chair for The St. Alcuin Montessori School in 2002 raising 18 million in 4 years. He is still actively involved with St. Alcuin as a member of the Advisory Board. Galbraith is the past president of the Lumberman’s Association of Texas and is still involved as a member of the executive committee. He is married to Karen Raley and they have one son, O’Neal who attends SMU in Dallas.
